If you are running multiple monitors then give
UltraMon a look. If you are not running at least dual monitors then you may want to consider doing so, especially if you are doing any kind of work on your computer that involves switching between applications. It may not be a requirement for a home PC, but even then the coolness factor should earn a point or two.
I have been using dual monitors for about 3 years now and I finally decided to give monitor utilities a try. I tried a few others, but when I found UltraMon I was hooked. When running XP nothing looks as nice as UltraMon. It just looks and behaves like a nice, polished application. After the 30 day trial had expired I had no qualms about plopping down $39.95 to register my copy.
$39.95 may seem a bit expensive for a utility that from an initial view doesn't really provide any functionality. But, let me tell you, the Smart Taskbar alone is worth the investment.
