Deal of the Day sites.

Though I haven't perused them as much as I used to, I used to watch a couple of "Deal of the Day" sites religiously, especially when I was in the market for SD cards, a new video card or a new laptop or PC.

My three favorites sites of this genre are PriceWatch, eDealInfo, GotApex.

PriceWatch used to be focused entirely on computer hardware, though it looks like they've gotten into the software market recently, too. I have used this site since 1999. When I serious about needing something new, like memory or a hard drive or a monitor, this is where I go first. It will give you a good idea about the prices that are available from the truly, truly low end of the market. It used to be a place where you could really get ripped off on shipping, but retailers must now include their shipping prices, too. Retailers are also rated - stick to the ones with good ratings and read the reviews with a grain of salt. Also, when buying memory or hard-drives or well anything, you may want to stick to name-brand products. There might be pages and pages of results of cheaper stuff before you find someone selling a brand name of memory that you recognize, but most likely you will be happier with the end result.

The other two sites, eDealInfo and GotApex, are more of a cornucopia of anything for sale on the Internet - everything from the latest Dell deals to low interest rate credit cards. These sites are good if you are waiting for the best Dell laptop deal or if you have a couple of extra bucks in your pocket and you have a wishlist of things you'd like to pick up sometime. Don't we all have a list like that? My personal favorite of the two is eDealInfo, but they are both very similar.

Anyone else have a favorite Deal of the Day site that you'd like to share?
